Donald A. Butch Kaiser

Donald A. “Butch” Kaiser passed away suddenly at home on Monday, February 22, 2016. He was born on June 27, 1958 to Donald C. and Rita (Wilczynski) Kaiser. Don was a 1976 graduate of Springfield High School and he was a dedicated employee of the Omni-Source team as a truck driver for 23 years and was given the C.B. handle “String-Bean.” Don was a proud veteran of the Air National Guard having served our country for 28 years. He was called up for active duty during 9-11 for one year, among other deployments in which he gladly served. Don was a member of the American Legion Post 646 in Holland and a member of the Holland Fire and Rescue Department where he served as Assistant Fire Chief. He was an avid scuba-diver who traveled to Belize and other Caribbean countries. He also loved boating, playing euchre and was a big Denver Broncos fan. Don is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Tamyra J. (Roberts) Kaiser; his mother, Rita Kaiser and his sister, Debra (Anselmo Marquez) Kaiser; sisters-in-law, Erin Kaiser; Diana (Larry) Gess; Paula Wesley; Deborah VanKirk; Tawnya Roberts; and Dawn Seals; nephews, Justin; Matthew; Stephen; Jackson; Emerson Kaiser; Troy Setlock, Justin Wesley, and Scott Seals; nieces, April Shepler; Tara Gess; and Dani Bowers. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald C. Kaiser and his brother Douglas A. Kaiser. He will be sorrowfully missed by all those who knew and loved him. Friends will be received on Friday, February 26, 2016 from 2:00 to 8:00 P.M. in the Neville Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 7438 Airport Highway, 43528 (419-865-8879) where the rosary will be recited at 7:00 P.M. Prayers will be said at the funeral home at 9:00 A.M. on Saturday, February 27, 2016 and a funeral mass will follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 6135 Hill Ave Toledo, Ohio 43615 at 10:00 A.M.
