Dominic N. James

Dominic James, 95, of Toledo, passed away on Wednesday, September 8, 2021. He was born in Youngstown, OH to Anthony and Elizabeth (Dominic) James on January 28, 1926. Dominic joined the U.S. Navy where he served as a torpedomen. He married the love of his life, Dolores (Mastrangeli) James, and they spent over 71 beautiful years together before her passing in 2018. As a carpenter, Dominic was a hardworking man that kept a consistent schedule. He was known as a Mr. Fix-it type of guy that could work on anything. Dominic is survived by his daughter, Diana Jordon, son-in-law, Alan (Dana) Brass; grandchildren, Mark Brass, Glen (Michelle) Brass; great-grandchildren, Hailey Brass, Ashley Brass, Jacob Reimer, and Lily Reimer. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Debbie Brass; and two sisters. There will be no services held. Arrangements were entrusted to Walker Funeral Home, Toledo. Memorial donations may be made to Debbie J. Brass Children’s Cancer Center at Toledo Children’s Hospital.
