Dolores Bobbie Uhlenberg-Graffis

Dolores B. Uhlenberg-Graffis, 88, of Northwood, Ohio passed away peacefully in her home on January 2, 2021. She was born in Beaver Creek, Kentucky on April 14, 1932. Dolores had worked for the Jobst Corp. for 25 years, retiring in 1992. She later purchased and operated the former Mindset Bar in Perrysburg Township, Ohio until her retirement. Dolores was a very organized and hard worker who wanted to make sure everything was running smoothly. She was tough when she had to be but was always generous and kind. Family was always a top priority for Dolores and she made it a point to be very involved in their lives, attending all types of events and celebrations. She will always be remembered by her grandchildren as the “greatest grandma” as she always spoiled them with everything! Every where she lived, Dolores made sure she had an in-ground pool where all of the family could gather and spend long summer days enjoying the sun. Dolores is survived by her children, Kathy (Ted) Mandrcken, Fred (Angel) Bussdieker, Arthur “Ron” (Carla) Theiss, Debbie (Rudy Franco) Theiss, John Theiss, Jamie Uhlenberg, grandchildren, Kevin, Michael, Chantra, Shannon, Mark, Ashley, Joey, Shawn, Shane, Schoen and Esiebio, many great-grandchildren and siblings, Hilda Graczyz, Sandy Mullins, Leon “Chuck” McGee, Jr., and Norma Pinkerton. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sola (Blanton) &Leon McGee, Sr., husband, Burt Graffis, whom she married in Northwood, Ohio, daughters, Peggy Bussdieker and Sherry Theiss, along with sisters, Ethel McGee, Agnes Hawblitz, Margaret Miller and Helen Shock. Visitation for Dolores will be held in the Walker Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 3500 Navarre Ave., Oregon, Ohio, from 5-7 PM on Wednesday, January 6, 2021.
