Dolores Hodgdon Thielen

Dolores Hodgdon F. Thielen, 84, Maumee, passed away peacefully from this life to eternal life on July 7, 2012. She was born in Arnolds Park, Iowa on April 16, 1928 to William and Ferne Nance Hodgdon. She was employed for 12 years at Jacobsons in the sportswear department. Dolores also worked as a supervisor for Campbell Soup Company for 12 years. She enjoyed working in her garden, reading and studying Native American Heritage. Most of all, Dolores loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dolores is survived by her daughters, Cathy Charles Workman of Northwood, Ohio, Susan John Hathcock of Branson, Missouri, Mary Jo Steve Smallman of Wauseon, Ohio, and Linda Jane Fred Bordner of Haskins, Ohio, 9 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren, and sister, Lua Weyer of New Concord, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her husband, Reid, daughter Karen, and son Thomas. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
