Dolores M. Ryland, 93, of Oak Harbor, died Tuesday morning, February 9, 2010, in Magruder Hospital, Port Clinton, Ohio. Dolores was born September 15, 1916, in Oak Harbor, Ohio, to Henry H. and Olive M. Floro Neatfeld. She married Howard Ryland, who preceded her in death. Dolores was a homemaker and owner/operator of Dees Market in Port Clinton for 10 years. She also worked at Erie Ordnance in Port Clinton many years ago. Dolores attended Port Clinton Bible Methodist Church and the Church of the Nazarene in Fremont. She enjoyed reading, especially her Bible, and enjoyed baking. Survivors include her son, Richard Ryland of Oak Harbor and sisters, Beatrice Mehlow of Fremont, and Iris Brandy Pappas of Oak Harbor. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, step son, Robert Ryland, brothers, Lloyd and Harmon Neatfeld, sisters, Geraldine LaNier-Dearth, Mary Ann Levi, and Thelma Below, infant sister, Leatrice, and infant brother, John. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m., Thursday, February 11, 2010 in the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, Oak Harbor. The funeral service will be conducted by Pastor Deron Fourman at 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 12, 2010 in the funeral home with interment to follow in Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor. In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested memorials for Dolores to the Port Clinton Bible Methodist Church.
