Dolores Ripinski

Dolores Ripinski, age 86, died September 2, 2016 at Ebeid Hospice. She was born September 19, 1929 in Toledo to the late Robert and Sophie (Czerwinski) Rombkowski. She attended both Notre Dame Academy and Woodward High School and worked as a secretary at the Albring Vending Co., Crosby Gardens and the City of Toledo Parks and Recreation Department. In her free time, Dolores enjoyed traveling, cooking, baking, arts and crafts. Dolores is survived by her daughter, Claudia (Michael) Janusko; and grandchildren, Emily and Alexander Janusko. She was also preceded in death in by the love of her life and husband of 52 years, Stanley Rip Ripinski; sisters, Alice Atkins and Eleanor Rombkowski; and brother, Robert Rombkowski, Jr. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 7, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of her funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church, 4100 Harvest Lane, Toledo. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Ebeid Hospice and to Dr. Michael Retholtz at St. Annes Hospital for their compassion and loving care of Dolores.
