Our beloved mother spread her wings and passed through the gates of Heaven on February 20, 2017 at the age of 89. Born on December 23, 1927 to Jean (Bialecki) Posner and Laurence (Poznaski) Posner. Mom attended St. Anthonys School and attended 60 years of reunions thanks to Ron Kujawa who brought classmates together sharing many memories. Through the years she stayed close to her childhood friends Bernie Malczewski, Eileen Sczerbiak and Bea Reed. Growing up we knew them as moms sisters and our second mothers. She started working at 17 for Spitzer Paper Box. Over the years shes held jobs at A P Warehouse, Franklin Ice Cream, National Medical, Sears and Masons Department Stores. Mom was a member of Toledo FOE #197 for over 40 years, Conn-Weisenberger #587, Moose Lodge, TAPS, IMA, VFW Post 2898, Rossford and Delta FOE and Young at Heart. She was past president of FOE #197, past president of REAC #197, District Chairman #14, District Leader and Mother of the Year. She was involved in many charities dear to her heart like One Way Farm for Children, Jimmy Durante for Drug and Child Abuse, Golden Eagle and Heart and Boys Club. Preceded in death by her parents, her father passed away when she was 2 and was known as the Polish Flash in the Toledo boxing community. Also preceding her was Aunt Marie and Uncle Bill Tyburski whom she lived with most of her adolescent years; her loving husband Joseph Perretti; sons, Richard Raczkowski, Joseph and Randy Perretti and Gods Little Angels granddaughters, Marisa and Marena Perretti; and son-in-law David Miller. Surviving Dolores are her daughters, Sandi Miller and Becky (Bruce) Garcia; brother, Donald (Connie) Koperski; grandchildren, Jeff (Beth) Lesniewicz, Matthew (Heather Cook and Chris Cook, Connie (Doug) Baker, Christine and Tara Raczkowski, Kellie (Andrew) Raczkowski-Creelman, Jessica, Joey, Dominick and Marcella Perretti, Brandon Garcia, Matt Links, Nicole (Denny) Miller, Kristy (Jason) DuChene, and Brandy (Emanuel) Newton; daughter-in-law, Sheri Raczkowski, brothers-in-law, Robert (Judy) Perretti and Ozzie Perretti; several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins. Special thanks and much love to Chuck and Esther Grasser for their never ending love, help and support to our mom and family. To Dr. Lawrence Elmer, Molly and staff for the years of taking care of moms Parkinsons disease. To Hospice of Northwest Ohio for their care of mom and the support given to her family and to Spring Meadows Nursing Facility. Friends may visit the family on Sunday February 26 from 1- 6 PM in the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey) where a Scripture Service will be held at 5 PM. Funeral services and burial will be private.
