DOLORES D. MCKOSKY Dolores D. McKosky, 89, of Perrysburg, Ohio, passed away surrounded by her loved ones on Thursday, February 18, 2021. Dolores was born to John and Mary Krupianyk on July 16, 1931. She graduated from Rossford High School in 1948 and then attended classes at the University of Toledo. She married her dear husband, Leonard McKosky, in Saint Michaels Ukrainian Church and was a parishioner there for many years. They later became parishioners at Saint Rose Catholic Church in Perrysburg. Dolores loved being a homemaker and raising her children. She also enjoyed volunteering at the Toledo Museum of Art, The March of Dimes, The American Heart Association and at St. Luke’s Hospital. In addition, she was enrolled in exercise classes for 25 years and achieved many awards and ribbons for her accomplishments. Dolores’s hobbies included reading, latch hook and needlepoint. She enjoyed traveling with Leonard to England, Mexico, the Bahamas and the entire United States. She was an avid fan of the Detroit Tigers and the Ohio State Buckeyes. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, her loving husband of 66 years, Leonard, on September 24, 2015; brother, John Krupa and sister, Stephanie (Bill) Westley. Surviving are her daughters, Linda (Fred) Meyer and Allison (Dave) Gibel; granddaughter, Ashley Gibel; sister-in-law, Marge Krupa and many nieces and nephews. For our beautiful mom in heaven, you were a strong and loving mother. Your smile lit up the room and everyone who knew you thought fondly of you. You will be forever in our hearts. We will miss you dearly. Services for Dolores will be private. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Witzler-Shank Walker Funeral Home, Perrysburg (419-874-3133).
