Dolores G. Lopez

Dolores G. Lopez, 89 of Port Clinton, OH, passed away, Monday, February 16, 2009 at Edgewood Manor Nursing Home, Port Clinton, OH. Dolores was born on August 16, 1919 in Alamo, TX, the daughter of Inosencio and Consuelo Alvarez Guerra. In Alamo, TX, she married Francisco C. Lopez and he preceded her in death on November 29, 1971. Dolores loved her family and especially loved taking care of her grandchildren. Dolores retired in 1985 from U.S. Gypsum after 35 years. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. Survivors include: Sons: Ernest Juanita Lopez of Norwalk, OH and Erasmo Maria Chala Lopez of Port Clinton, OH; Daughter: Criselda Cris Alba of Findlay, OH; Sons: Ephraim San Juanita Sam Lopez of Panama City, FL and Ramon Okhui Lopez of Gypsum, OH; Daughter: Sabitas Sally Howard of Port Clinton, OH; Daughter in law: Delphia Lopez; Brother: Francisco Hope Guerra of Lakeside, OH; 19 Grandchildren and 14 Great-Grandchildren. Dolores was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son: Hector, granddaughter: Teresa Ann Alba, daughter-in-law: Jessie Millie Lopez and sister: Estella Guerra. Visitation will be 4-8PM, Wednesday, February 18, 2009 in the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home and Crematory, Port Clinton, OH. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00AM, Thursday, February 19, 2009 in the funeral home. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton, OH. Memorial contributions in memory of Dolores may be given to the Alzheimers Association or to a charity of a Donors Choice.
