Dolores Ann Katschke

Dolores Ann Katschke, 85, of Oregon, died on Monday, June 22, 2015 at Hospice of N.W. Ohio, Perrysburg. She was born on August 29, 1929 to Herman and Anna (Cousino) St. John in Oregon, Ohio. Dolores and her husband, George, owned and operated the Abundant Life Christian Bookstore for 20 years. She was active in the Gideon Bible East Camp, Mended Hearts, and volunteered at St. Vincent’s Hospital for 15 years, visiting heart patients. Dolores devoted her life to the Lord and her family, and enjoyed playing Yahtzee and other games with her grandchildren. Dolores was preceded in death by her parents, beloved husband, George; great-granddaughters, Rebecca, Alexa and Isabella; brothers, Ralph, Jerry, Don and Ron. Surviving are her children, Daniel (Sherry), Kathy Bomer, Terry (Carol), Kenny (Cathy) Katschke and Jeff Jaegly who is like a son to Dolores; brother, Wayne (Anita) St. John; sisters, Mariellen (John) Huss, Janice Gadus and Judy Vondran; 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the Hoeflinger-Bolander Funeral Home 3500 Navarre Ave., Oregon, Ohio on Friday, June 26, 2015 from 2:00 – 8:00pm where services on Saturday will begin at 10:00am.
