DiAngelo C. Alexander was born in Ypsilanti, Michigan to Leroy & Teresa Alexander on January 26, 1987. DiAngelo was a member of New Testament Church where he was baptized at an early age. He relocated to Toledo Ohio with his parents and siblings, where he spent the past 28 years.
DiAngelo graduated from his alma mater, Springfield High School in 2005 where he was a standout three-sport athlete, earning letters in football, basketball, and track. Highlighting his high school career, Dee set the record in the 100-meter dash which he was
so proud of. Dee’s competitive nature carried into his adulthood where he joined bowling, flag football, basketball, and pool league.
DiAngelo brightened up any room he entered with his smile and contagious personality. Dee absolutely loved all genres of music and loved to dance. He was truly the life of the party and loved to make everyone laugh. If you knew DiAngelo, then you know he never met a stranger and would leave a lasting impression on everyone. He had such an amazing heart and always put others before himself. Dee loved many things but above all he loved spending time with his family/friends and riding his motorcycle in the summertime. Not to mention, he was a faithful University of Michigan football fan. He would scream “Go Blue” to the top of his lungs on game day with his #3 jersey on and Michigan chain.
DiAngelo will be remembered for the unconditional love he gave and for the kindness he showed. He wore his heart on his sleeve and made an everlasting impression on every single person he encountered. His selflessness and big heart will remain with us for the rest of our lives.
DiAngelo is preceded in death by his grandparents, Lee & Margaret Stewart, grandmother Pinkie Alexander, his uncle’s Robert (Purple) Stewart and Charlie Hall, and his cousin Frederick Asher.
DiAngelo is survived by his parents: LeRoy & Teresa Alexander, his son: DiAngelo Alexander Jr., his siblings: Karon Stewart, LeRoy Alexander Jr., Nerrissa Alexander, and Leroy Alexander III, his nieces: Karonyae Stewart, Kariyah Stewart, Amaya Alexander, Londyn Alexander-Evans, his nephews: Tyler Alexander, Jace Alexander, and Justice Alexander, and a host of Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
