Diane M. Nelson

Diane M. Nelson, 74, of Toledo, died Sunday, March 4, 2012 at her home. She was born September 3, 1937 in Toledo to the late Gordon and Aravala Dillinger DeVille. Diane married Richard G. Nelson on September 27, 1969 and he survives. Also surviving are her daughters, Sandra Diane Lee of Overland Park, KS, and Denise Barry Lessow; grandchildren, Lauren Rope of Denver, CO, Jennifer Rope, of New York City, and Taylor Lee of Overland Park, KS; step daughter, Christine Keith Droste of Anaheim, CA, her son, Michael Rachel Droste and his children Jack and Logan. One sister, Virginia Hutchinson, also preceded her in death. Diane was a homemaker and also worked for several years as a legal secretary. She adored her beloved cats, Willow and Chloe, the backyard birds, the neighbors dog, genealogy, cooking and gardening. There will be no services.
