Diane Lynch

Diane Lynch, 72 years old of Oregon Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on the morning of October 2nd. She is survived by her husband Paul, only daughter Brooke Ellen (Ruben), grandchildren Selena (Chris), Olivia, Ava, Amanda (Steve), Tobin (Jenna) and her great grandchildren Christian and Everleigh. She was preceded in death by her parents Buck and Ellen, and granddaughter Isa Renee.

Diane enjoyed chatting with her many Facebook friends and family, and always had a kind and uplifting comment for others. Diane’s strong warm spirit touched the lives of all of those who had the honor to know her. Diane had a great love for gardening, crocheting and spending time with her adored husband of 31 years. She enjoyed trips to the casino and spending time having lunch with her friends. As the matriarch, Diane had a deep unyielding love for family and could be counted on for encouraging words, sage advice and tough love when needed. She was the strength of her family and her guidance, comforting presence and unwavering support will be deeply missed. Diane will be remembered for her sharp intelligence, and witty sayings.

Her memorable laugh and dynamic personality will live on with us for the rest of our years. Diane blessed her family’s lives with good times and happiness, and among many of the strong values she taught her family was a deep love for reading. Some of the fondest memories her daughter and grandchildren have of her are their frequent trips to the library and reading as small children on Diane’s lap. Due to this and her fondness for books, in lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in Diane’s name to the Library Legacy Foundation 325 Michigan St Toledo, Ohio 43604.
