Diane Lynn Lau

Diane Lynn Lau, 36, of Gibsonburg, Ohio, died suddenly Wednesday, September 1, 2010, as a result of an automobile accident. Diane was born July 6, 1974, to Daniel and Mary Miller Bancroft. On September 2, 2008, she married Christopher Lau at Maumee Bay Resort and he survives. She and Chris were always together. In 15 years they only spent two nights apart. Diane was a very devoted wife and loved to have mini dates and taking walks at Maumee Bay. Diane was a homemaker, who loved her petsTootsie, Kelly, Murph, Bailey and Bear. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed making crafts. Her other hobbies included plants, gardening and flowers, especially lilies. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her brothers, Danny Cindy Bancroft, Steve LaFountain and Ronnie Jan LaFountain; sisters, Dottie Joe Janick, Ike Jim Demecs; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jim Cindy Lau, Tom Lisa Lau, Susan Karl Dreier, Robert Lau, Theresa Ken Berger, Joseph Krista Lau, Jeanne Gary VanDenDoleweert, Daniel Lynnea Lau and Michael Lau; and father and mother-in-law, Loren and Marilyn Lau. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Her parents preceded her in death. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 7, 2010, in the Robinson Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Genoa. The funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. The family has requested memorials for Diane to any pet or animal organization.
