Diane Lee Behlmer, 53, of Rocky Ridge, Ohio, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on October 15, 2025, at the Stein Hospice Inpatient Unit in Sandusky, Ohio. She was born on November 14, 1971, in Toledo, Ohio, to Bill and Annette (Whitaker) Kuzeroski.
Diane was a talented cook and caterer who dedicated much of her career to the grocery industry, including 10 years with Community Markets in Oak Harbor. Earlier in life, she worked for Merle Norman Cosmetics at Franklin Park Mall in Toledo, where she discovered her gift for beauty and creativity. Diane especially enjoyed doing makeup for wedding parties and helping others look and feel their best.
Family meant everything to Diane. She cherished celebrating the holidays-especially Christmas-and was known for creating the most beautifully decorated tree adorned with her extensive ornament collection. Her homemade Christmas cookies were a family favorite, and her joyful spirit filled every gathering. Diane was also famous for her love of going barefoot, no matter the season-even in the snow! Over the years, she shared her home and heart with many beloved pets who brought her great comfort and companionship.
Diane is survived by her devoted husband of 32 years, Dale Behlmer, whom she married on August 9, 1993; her mother, Annette (Oris) Wilburn; children, Randy Behlmer and Jacqi Behlmer (fiancé Bill Davies); step-son, Rusty Behlmer; granddaughter, Maci Davies; and sisters, Lori (Mike) Traver, Dawn (Bill) Seeger, Robin Peters and Laura-Ann Dotts. She was preceded in death by her father, Bill Kuzeroski, and step-son, Ralph Behlmer.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, from 2:00-8:00 p.m. at Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 165 E. Water St., Oak Harbor.
