Desiree Cheri Wilson

Desiree Cheri Wilson, 36, of Toledo, OH passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, March 23, 2022.  She was born on November 20, 1985 in Oregon, OH.  Desiree earned an associate degree from Owens Community College.  She enjoyed camping, the outdoors, and being with family & friends.  Desiree was known to be a very outgoing person and a “social butterfly”.  She treated everybody like family and commonly called others sis and cuz.  She was a favorite aunt to her nieces & nephews, who called her “Aunt Busy”, because she was always doing something or had places to go.  Desiree especially liked pink roses, butterflies, and R&B music.

Desiree is survived by her children, Brionna Tilden, Trinity Knowles, and George “Poppa” Garcia, step-children, Anthony (Theresa) Garcia, Felicia (Bo) Willis, and Josh (Heather) Garcia, step-grandchildren, Anthony Garcia, Mariah Garcia, Megan Garcia, and Laela Garcia, her mother, Sherri (Clinton Wicks) Wilson, her siblings, Kanishia (Ash) Marsh, Dennis Wilson, Ashley (Jesse) Evans, and Aaron (Coleena) Wicks, nieces & nephews: Kieshara, Alyssia, Ashley, Alexander, Dakota, Lil Dennis, McKenzie, Marley, Lillian, LeeRoy, and Noah, and paternal grandmother, Sherleen Wilson.

Visitation for Desiree will be on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Walker Funeral Home – Oregon Chapel, 3500 Navarre Ave., Oregon, OH.
