Dennis Guy Willard

Dennis G. (Denny) Willard, 75, passed away suddenly on March 6, 2026 surrounded by his loving family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Iris Willard, and his brother, Kim Willard.

A lifelong Toledo resident, he graduated from Whitmer High School along with attending General Motors Institute and the University of Toledo. He was a proud Veteran who served in the Army and National Guard.

A true example of a Renaissance man, Denny was someone with diverse talents, knowledge, and skills. His career life included being an auto mechanic, a fabricator, and a finished carpenter. Fueled by all things extreme, he channeled a fondness for speed and adventure with his love of racing, off-roading, and building and fixing his own creations. He yearned for learning as he loved Jeopardy, brain teasers, and picking up new skills.

He will be deeply missed by his wife of 46 years, Marcia, along with his daughter and son-in-law, Jessica and Jonathan Greer. He will also be missed by his cats, especially Izzy who was constantly by his side. Although his family was small, Denny had many close friendships throughout his life and truly enjoyed sharing laughter and experiences together.

Per Denny's wishes, he will be honored with a private celebration of life this summer at the place loved the most - the Silver Lake Sand Dunes.
