Dennis Arthur Salzwedel

Dennis A. Salzwedel, 68, of Toledo, Ohio died Friday, March 24, 2023 at his home. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on July 31, 1954 to Emmitt and Lenore (Smith) Salzwedel. Dennis retired from Chrysler after 30 plus years.

Dennis enjoyed hanging out with family and friends. He enjoyed relaxing outside with a drink in his hand, watching the day go by along with the birds. He was a fan of basketball, football, and Nascar. He took pride and great care of his car.

Dennis is survived by his son, Vaughn Salzwedel; sister, Diane (Gary) Schutt; grandson, Jaden Salzwedel; granddaughter, Brianna Aliemenious; grandson, Elijah Salzwedel. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Dean and Dale Salzwedel; and great grandson, Grayson Salzwedel.

There will be a celebration of life at Hangers Saloon, 531 Oak Street, Toledo, Ohio on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at 4:00 PM. Memorial donations may be made to the donor’s choice.
