Dennis Charles Oliver

Dennis C. (Denny) Oliver, age 63 of Maumee, passed away on Tuesday, April 11, 2017. He was born on August 3, 1953 to Virgil and Jean (Murray) Oliver. Denny graduated from Perrysburg High School and was employed by McKee Foods. Denny had many passions and talents which including the Miami Dolphins, cooking, scuba diving, hunting, and the finer things in life like a good cigar and single malt scotch. He was a proud father who enjoyed watching Grant play soccer where he appreciated his vantage point in the announcer booth for the Anthony Wayne Generals. Denny was extremely proud of Greg and his accomplishment of graduating from BGSU. Denny imparted his love, knowledge and passion for marine mammals with his son, Greg. Surviving are his loving wife of 28 years, Jenny (Reno); sons Greg and Grant, brothers Gordy (Diana) and Virgil Oliver. Also surviving is his aunt, Patricia Hemple, and his numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Melvin. Denny’s family will receive friends from 2-8 PM on Friday, April 14, 2017 at Mason-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home Maumee, Ohio where funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at 9:00 AM.
