Denise Marie Vodicka

Denise Marie Vodicka, 35, of Marblehead, Ohio, passed peacefully on Monday, September 18, 2017. Born on August 30, 1982 in Cleveland, OH. She was the youngest daughter of Roger and Janet (Dlouhy) Vodicka, beloved mom of dog “Scooter” and cherished sister of Michelle Cerny, Donna Senyitko (Tony), Faye Vodicka (Julie) and Melissa Rusnak (Richard). She was the most loving, kind-hearted and “cool” aunt to Ryan (Alyssa), Justin, Amanda, Nicole, Samantha, Ashley and Sarah, and great aunt to Hailey. Denise attended Danbury schools and earned her certificate in Phlebotomy from Ehove Career Center. She had the voice of an angel and loved to sing, dance, and eat cucumbers, and always put others before herself. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. Visitation will be from 5-8PM, Friday, September 22, 2017 at the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Port Clinton, OH. Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Chris Young at 11:00AM, Saturday, September 23, 2017 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Marblehead, OH, with visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow in the St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery.
