Denelda Wilhelmina Garn

Denelda W. Garn, 86, of Oak Harbor, died Sunday, December 27, 2009, in Otterbein Northshore, Lakeside-Marblehead, Ohio. She was born August 21, 1923, in Rocky Ridge, Ohio, to Charles and Leona Nehls Arndt. On January 10, 1954, in Rocky Ridge she married Willard L. Garn, who preceded her in death in 2000. Denelda was a homemaker and a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Rocky Ridge. She is survived by her sons, Charles L. Karen Garn of Fremont, Paul P. Mary Ann Garn of Mansfield, and Robert A. Sharon Garn of Augusta, GA, and seven grandchildren. Denelda was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brothers, Rollin, Raymond, Carl and Forrest Arndt. Visitation will be Wednesday December 30, 2009 from 2-4 and 6-8, in the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home and Crematory, Oak Harbor, Ohio. Funeral Services will be Thursday December 31, 2009 at 11:00 am at St. John Lutheran Church, Rocky Ridge, Ohio. Internment will take place in West Union Cemetery, Gibsonburg, Ohio. The family has suggested memorials for Denelda to St. John Lutheran Church, 450 N. Rocky Ridge Rd., Oak Harbor, OH 43449, or Stein Hospice.
