Delores Ann Koch

Delores Ann Wixsom Koch, age 86, died September 4th at her home in Sylvania, OH surrounded by her family. Born June 28, 1930, she was the daughter of Catherine Ann Neiling (Wixsom) and J. Edgar Wixsom. She graduated from Central Catholic High School in June 1948. She married the love of her life, Carl R. Koch, on January 11, 1951. She was an active member of St. Joseph parish in Sylvania for 54 years. Delores was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and a gifted cake decorator who enjoyed teaching cake decorating and candy making classes. She is proceeded in death by her husband, Carl Koch and her devoted son, Paul Koch. She is survived by her sister, Elizabeth Wixsom Pero May; her children, Carol (Michael) Cole, Robert Koch, Patricia (Stephen) Bollig, Mary (James) Aring, Catherine (Kevin) Oswald, Janet (Ed) Thurman, John (Cassie) Koch; her 18 grandchildren; and her 16 great grandchildren. Family will receive friends on Thursday from 9:00 AM-10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church 5373 Main St Sylvania, Oh 43560 followed by funeral Mass at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park.
