Delores I. Hofmeister

Delores I. Hofmeister, age 84, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at Arbors of Waterville Care Center.  Delores was born in Toledo on March 10, 1930 to Stephen and Genevieve Zietkiewicz.  She worked as a bookkeeper at Cedar Point in the payroll department.  Delores enjoyed playing bridge, line dancing, traveling, and gardening. Delores was preceded in death by her husband, Max; son, Kurt; and daughter, Cathy Phillips.  She is survived by her daughter, Anne Hofmeister; daughter-in-law, Dawn Hofmeister;  grandchildren, Everett Criss, Genevieve Criss, Reinhardt Criss, Jeannie Churchill, Karl Hofmeister, and Henry Hofmeister; and 4 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd.) on  Sunday, August 3, 2014 from 2:00pm until the time of service at 3:30pm.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association of Northwest Ohio, 2500 N.
