Adams Delmere D.C.-Doc Delmere Adams, age 84, passed away March 2, 2010 at the Franciscan Care Center in Sylvania, OH. Delmere was born in Lawrenceburg, TN on August 4, 1925. He was a paratrooper with US. Army Air Corp. until he injured his back during a jump. He lived in Toledo, OH and operated an Aluminum siding business. He moved his business to Montgomery, AL until he retired. He was also a sheriffs deputy and on the volunteer fire dept. in Wetumpka, AL. When he became ill his children brought him back to Toledo to help care for him. Delmere loved to go to Key Largo in the winters to enjoy deep sea fishing. Delmere was preceded in death by his parents, Lindsey and Hettie; brothers, Bill and Lowell; sisters Carline and Pauline. Surviving are his children, Bob Linda Adams, Sharon Lloyd Beck both of Toledo; seven grandchildren; two step granddaughters; many great grandchildren; many nieces & nephews; and numerous friends throughout the country. Friends may visit the family at the Neal Funeral Home in Lawrenceburg, TN on Sunday March 7, 2010 from 2-9 PM where services will be held on Monday at 11 am. The family would like to thank Parkcliffe Community for their care early in his illness and all the angels at Franciscan Care Center. They also wish to commend his son, Bob, for having such control and patience in his care giving. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer Association.
