DELMAR “ZIP” H. ZIMMERMAN Delmar “Zip” H. Zimmerman, age, 77 of Walbridge, died Friday, August 24, 2012, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Perrysburg. He was born on October 26, 1934, in Ottawa County to Carl and Edna (Groweg) Zimmerman. Delmar was employed with Ford Motor Company as a Hi-Lo Driver for over 30 years before retiring. He married Rita Adler on September 18, 1954. Zip is survived by his loving wife of 54 years Rita; children, Melody (Jamie) Mullins, Pam (Robert) Williams, Christine (Dennis) Johnston, Paula Patterson, and Timothy (Lori) Zimmerman; eleven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and mother, Edna Zimmerman. He was preceded in death by his father. Friends will be received on Monday, August 27, 2012 from 10:00am -2:00 in the Witzler-Shank Funeral Home 701 N. Main St. Walbridge (419-666-3121) with funeral services at 2:00pm. Burial will follow in Lake Township Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
