Della Sue Henderly

Della Sue Granny Sue Henderly, 88, of Toledo, died on Friday morning, July 10, 2015 at Heartland of Waterville.  Sue was born January 26, 1927 in Toledo to the late Clarence E. and Anna Dorthea (Key) Underwood.  She married Clifford J. Henderly on June 21, 1947 and he preceded her in death on October 19, 2001.  A sister, Betty Jo Compton, and brother, Clarence E. Underwood, Jr., also preceded her in death. A graduate of Waite High School, Sue retired as a receptionist from Owens-Illinois.  In her free time, she enjoyed reading and working in her flower garden.  Sue was always fun to be around and will be remembered for her loving, sweet personality, and for placing her family first at all times. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Linda S. Noll (Richard), Steven J. Henderly (Colleen) and Michael G. Henderly (Lisa); seven grandsons; one granddaughter; eighteen great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. Family and friends are invited to visit on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. in the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Avenue (west of Corey Rd.) where funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 15, 2015.  Committal rites and burial will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Memorials are suggested to Heartland of Waterville or a hospice organization of the donors choice.
