Della Jane Gordon, 75, of Bruceton, TN, and most recently Oak Harbor, OH died Friday, June 25, 2010 at H.B. Magruder Hospital, Port Clinton, OH. She was born on March 13, 1935 in Bruceton, TN to Eddie Harold and Nona Rachel Barton Joyner. Della Jane worked as a bank janitor and courier for Bank of Huntington/First Bank in Bruceton, TN for 35 years, retiring in 2000. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Bruceton, TN and the Eastern Stars. Della Jane loved to crochet. Della Jane is survived by her loving family: daughter: Deborah Mark McPherson of Oak Harbor, OH, son: Eddie Gordon of Huntington, TN, daughter: Darlene Bill Heinz of Collierville, TN, 5 grandchildren: Joey Heinz, Christopher Gordon, Nicholas Gordon, Kristen Heinz, and Ryan McPherson, 3 great grandchildren, and sister: Ruth Muriel Larkins of Bruceton, TN. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers: Robert, Harold, and Barton Joyner. Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. on Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at the Bruceton Funeral Home, 30700 Broad St. Bruceton, TN 38317 and 9 a.m.
