Deliva Louise Dee Troy TROY Deliva Dee Deliva Dee Louise Troy nee Neff, age 74, passed away Wednesday, September 5, 2007, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. She was born May 4, 1933 in Fremont, Ohio. She attended Garfield Elementary School and was a 1951 graduate of Whitney High School. Following graduation she worked as a secretary for Owens-Corning for about five years before beginning a family with her husband, Neal whom she married in 1954. Dee grew up and lived in Toledo until she and Neal built a home from her own design in Sylvania in 1969. They have resided in this home ever since. Dee was a stay at home mom and a professional volunteer. Over the years she was involved in many activities with various schools, church, hospitals, rape counseling, educating women through PEO, Red Cross, Planned Parenthood, and as a 4-H leader. During that time she attended all kinds of classes, some for credit and some for fun. In 1987 she became a realtor working for the Danberry Co. She retired from real estate in 2003. She enjoyed gardening in warm weather and genealogy research year round. Dees true light of her life was her grandchildren, who meant the world to her. The love, care, joy and nurturing that Dee shared with her family, church, school mates, neighbors and the entire community during her life will resonate long after she has passed on. Dee was proceeded in death by her sister, Mildred Ruzicka; father, Milton Neff; and mother, Lucille Henry.
