Dee Felt

Dee (Hazel) Felt, age 91, of Maumee, Ohio passed away with her son and daughter by her side on April 22, 2018 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Toledo. She was born on May 21,1926 in Ames, Oklahoma to Lloyd and Hazel (Hand) Durgan. She worked at Millers Restaurant as a waitress. Dees love language was acts of service to others. She was on the Board of Directors at the Maumee Senior Citizen Center and was also named a Citizen of the year in 2013 for Maumee. Dee loved flowers and plants, and was honored with beautification awards by the Citys of Maumee and Toledo. Hazel was a member of the Ashland Baptist church for 65+ years and always tried to help a friend, never asking for anything in return. She is survived by her son; Douglas (Jenell) Felt; Daughter Dianne Jefferis, Daughter-in-law, Kathy Felt; Grandchildren, Angela (Kenneth) Behrens, Brian (Kristen) Felt, Jacob (Rachel) Jefferis, Nathan (Grace) Felt, Sara (Matthew) Jefferis, Nicole (Brad) Holloway; Great grandchildren; Allison, Leah, Sadie, and Landon. Dee is preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald; sons, Richard and Dennis Felt; son-in-law Michael Jefferis and brothers, Dewey, Bob, and Jim. Family and friends will be received from 2-4 P.M. & 6-8 P.M. on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home with funeral services to be held at 7pm.
