Debra A. Walterbach

Debra A. Walterbach, 53, of Marblehead died Saturday, April 16, 2011 at Edgewood Manor Nursing Center, Port Clinton. She was born Oct 20, 1957 in Cleveland to Alice Moeller & Don McLaughlin. On April 25, 1981 she married John S. Jack Walterbach. Debra loved to cook and took special care of her family. She was very creative and enjoyed writing poems and crossword puzzles. She had incredible perseverance thru her Muscular Dystrophy, various surgeries and her battle with cancer. She always kept a wonderful attitude on life and concern for other. Survivors include: husband: John Jack Walterbach; son: Steven Walterbach of Cleveland; mother: Alice Brickman of Cleveland; brothers: Don Karen McLaughlin of Florida & Mike McLaughlin of Cleveland; sisters: Linda Terry Oles of California & Kelly Paul Pitrone of Cleveland; aunts: Dolores Dory Moeller of Cleveland & Dotty Haeffly of Streetsboro, OH. She was preceded in death by her father: Don McLaughlin and grandmother: Marie Moeller. Memorial Services will be conducted by Fr. Dan Ring at 11am, Thursday, April 21, 2011 at Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Port Clinton. . In lieu of flowers, the family suggests Memorial Contributions may be made to Stein Hospice or the Muscular Distrophy Association.
