Debra Jean Thompson

Debra Jean Thompson age 61 of Swanton, Ohio passed away suddenly Monday, July 11, 2016 in St. Lukes Hospital. She was born August 2, 1954 in Palmer, Ohio to Michael and Anna (Gunther) Faessel. She loved and enjoyed her animals. She is survived by her husband, Roger Lee Thompson; sister Diane M. Dee (Michael C.) Matuska; brothers-in-law, Timothy Louis Thompson, Terry Allen Thompson and Dennis Richard (Tina) Thompson; nephews, Christopher (Lori) Matuska, Robert Matuska and Benjamin Thompson; nieces, Tanya, Tammy, Danielle and Holly Thompson. great-niece Chloe and great-nephew, Evan Matuska. Debra was preceded in death by her parents; children Anna Marie and Michael Louis Thompson; father and mother-in-law Louis and Pearl Loretta Marie Thompson, Jr.; and brother-in-law David Edward Thompson. Friends may visit the family at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant St. Maumee on Thursday from 3-8 PM. Graveside services will be held Friday at 11 AM in Toledo Memorial Parks Chapel of Peace Mausoleum. The family suggests memorials to Toledo Animal Shelter or Shriners Childrens Hospitals.
