Deborah Lynn Upton

Deborah Lynn Upton, 55, of Port Clinton, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at her home. She was born on April 21, 1967 in Dallas Texas, the daughter of Mel and Joan (Newton) Randall.

Debbie received her certificate in computer technology from Kellogg Community College. She worked with horses in Sevier County Tennessee for many years as an equestrian trainer.

She loved to fish, eat Jelly Bellys, Chinese food, and Seafood. She also enjoyed playing pool and was on a Pool League here in Port Clinton. She was a very caring person and would help anyone in need. Her laughter and support for others was immeasurable. Most importantly, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, and her 3 cats, Jack, Ami, and Creamer.

Survivors include her daughter, Ashley Lowe; sons, Cory Randall and Devin Upton; mother, Joan Randall; sisters, Dawn Burghdoff, Terry Burghdoff, and Kim Mitchell; and brother, Ron (Tammy) Katz. She was preceded in death by her father.

Per Debbie’s wishes, cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help pay for funeral expenses by going to www.walkerfuneralhomes.com and clicking on her obituary page, and then on the tribute fund tab to leave a donation.

The Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home and Crematory in Port Clinton assisted the family with arrangements.
