Deborah L. Thompson, 53, of Perrysburg, died Sunday, July 13, 2008, in Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. Deb was born December 21, 1954, in Mt. Carmel, Michigan, to Charles M. and Ethel E. VanBonn Raymor. On September 9, 1980, in Toledo she married Ollie Bud D. Thompson and he survives. Deb worked 27 years for the Bureau of Workers Compensation retiring in 2004. She was a member of St. Johns UCC in Genoa, where she sang in the church choir for many years. She also sang with the Oregon Choraliers for several years. Deb was a loving mother and grandmother and very involved with her children in their many activities. In addition to her husband, Deb is survived by her children, Josh, Jake, Jen, Justin Amber, and her step children, Angie and David; father, Chuck Raymor; brothers, Charles Leo Carol, Michael A. Dawn, and Timothy Michelle J. Raymor; seven grandchildren; and many others that she called her own. Her mother preceded her in death. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 17, 2008, in St. Johns UCC, Genoa. There will be no visitation. The family has suggested memorial contributions to St. Johns UCC Cancer Fund for Deb Thompson. Robinson-Walker Funeral Home and Crematory, Genoa, has assisted the family with arrangements.
