Deborah Rutherford

Deborah A. Rutherford, 71, of Maumee, Ohio passed away Friday, December 9, 2022, at Ebied Hospice. She was born in Ypsilanti, Michigan on June 10, 1951, to Robert Otis Spencer Rutherford and Henrietta Carolyn Lucas.

Deborah graduated in the class of 1969 from Willow Run High School and attended Madonna College. She worked for Norris Industry and for many years at General Motors. Deborah loved to bake and cook. She was very talented at sewing and crafts. Deborah was very loving and caring. She took care of many people and considered everyone as part of her family.

Deborah is survived by her daughter, Jessica Conner; sister, Leia Smith; brothers, Robert and Keith Lucas, Marcellus Gregory, Michael Noland, Anthony and John Lewis Rutherford; loving and dear companion, Lawrence; very close friends, Kathy Lonzella, Stephanie, Rhonda, Earlene, Geneva, and Ladon; and many loving extended families that included nieces, nephews, friends and their family. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Anthony Lucas, Spencer Rutherford; Uncle Jessie and Aunt Betty.
