Deborah Leigh Bonker, 67, of Perrysburg, passed away Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Toledo. She was born September 30, 1957, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to Lee and Sue (McGranahan) Thames.
Deborah married the love of her life, Lawrence Bonker, on June 11, 1982, and together they shared a life filled with love, creativity, and deep connection for 43 years.
A woman of many talents and quiet strength, Deborah had a passion for graphic design, using her computer to create thoughtful, artistic pieces that reflected her eye for beauty and her love for the Lord. She also loved planting flowers, spending time in her garden, and caring for cats, who were always drawn to her gentle nature.
Deborah is survived by her devoted husband, Lawrence; her two sisters; and her best friend, Teresa Meek, whom she considered family, along with her children, Shelley and Ricky. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Sue Thames.
Friends and family will be received Wednesday, August 13, 2025 from 10-11 a.m. at Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary Street, Perrysburg, where funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Entombment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
