Debbie S. Bowes

Debra Sue Bowes, 67, of Toledo, passed away on Thursday, April 15, 2021. She was born in Toledo to Kenneth and Dollie (Moore) Klocheska on December 29, 1953. Debbie married her loving husband, Tom Bowes, and they spent over 38 wonderful years together. Debbie was a talented crafter who enjoyed gifting her creations. She was a licensed beautician that loved collecting. Her collections include Disney thimbles, dolls, and many other treasures. She also decorated cakes and passed her knowledge on by teaching nieces and nephews. Debbie could always be found arriving first to holiday gatherings and being the last to leave. She enjoyed every holiday and event to the fullest. Debbie adored her family and will be truly missed. She is survived by her husband, Tom; siblings, James (Karen) Klocheska, Diane (Chris) Lemons, Sherry (Ted) Hammer, Marlene (Ken) Levengood; sister-in-law, Carol Klocheska; nieces and nephews, Nicole, Jessica, Amy, Jason, Christine, Jennifer, Michael, Christopher, Caleb; and many other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Jeff Klocheska. Friends and family will be received on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Avenue, Toledo, OH 43623 (419-841-2422). A Funeral Service will take place at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 beginning at 11:00 a.m. Entombment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Memorial donations in Debbie’s name may be made to American Cancer Society.
