Dean Mattoni

Dean Mattoni age 55, of Waterville, Ohio unexpectedly passed away on Friday, September 10, 2021, at St. Anne’s Hospital due to Covid-19 Pneumonia. Dean was born in Toledo on October 8, 1965. Dean owned and operated Rocky’s Body Shop in Toledo which was a 3rd generation family owned business, established in 1967 by his grandfather Rocco Mattoni. Dean was known by many for his custom “Kandy” paint work which won several awards and recognition in the car show world. He enjoyed spending time with his family, building his own show cars and going to the racetrack with his buddies. Dean will be remembered best by his “Gift to Gab” and his huge heart. Surviving is his wife of 30 years, Nikki (Lewandowski) Mattoni; daughters, Deanna, and Andrea Mattoni; brother, Mike Mattoni; mother Sharon (Dale) Fields, sisters, Lisa (Rob) Mattoni-Miller, Nicole (Olsi) Gjini and nieces, Zoe and Gia. Also surviving are many friends, colleagues, and all the Rocky’s Body Shop teams throughout the years. Dean was preceded in death by his father, William “Rocky” (Eileen) Mattoni. A celebration of Life will be held Sunday, October 10th 2021 - 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM - Angelo's Northwood Villa This will be a celebration of Life for both William "Rocky" and Dean Mattoni will be held at on Sunday, October 10, 2021 from 1:00-5:00 pm at Angelo's Northwood Villa, 6630 S.
