Dean Allan Fredrick

Dean A. Fredrick, 62, of Martin, Ohio passed away at his residence on January 1, 2021. He was born on February 23, 1958 in Port Clinton, Ohio, the son of Donald and Delma (Stiffler) Fredrick. Dean Married the love of his life, Cindy L. Lorenzen, on May 15, 1981, in Genoa, Ohio, and she survives. Dean was best described as a great guy, one who was always ready to help his family and friends and anyone else who needed a hand. He was the first to volunteer for any job, no matter what it entailed. His passion was woodworking. Dean was an expert and took great pride in creating one-of-a-kind bird feeders. Many of the feeders he created were very intricate and time consuming to complete, but he loved the challenge. Dean was also very handy in repairing small engines of all kinds and was an avid Cleveland Browns fan. He worked as a forklift operator. Dean is survived by his loving wife, Cindy, daughter, Whitney Fredrick, son Jacob (Audrey) Fredrick, siblings, Michele Kreh, Dennis Fredrick, Myron Fredrick, nieces and nephews and his canine companion, “Duke” who was always at his side. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Diane Hammond and infant brother, Ronald Fredrick. Visitation for Dean will be from 1-5 PM on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 in the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 West St, Genoa, Ohio. Please note that masks and social distancing will be observed at all times. Private family services will be conducted later with burial in the Limestone Cemetery.
