Dawn Marie Leiser

Dawn Marie Leiser, 54, of Oak Harbor, OH passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 28, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 4, 1970 in Sandusky, OH to Ronald and Joyce (Barger) Hall. Dawn graduated from Margaretta High School. On September 18, 1993 she married Michael Leiser, and he survives. Dawn worked in the bakery at Kroger’s in Sandusky for 28 years. She enjoyed scary movies, going to Rock concerts, Elvis, her cat, Presley, being in the sun, and being with her children and grandson. She was obsessed with Blow Pop suckers and always had some with her to enjoy. Dawn will be remembered by her outgoing personality and infectious laugh. She had the ability to warm and brighten a room.

In addition to her loving husband, Mike, she is survived by her children, Joy (Mitchell) Madenfort and Joseph Leiser, grandson, Mitchell Myron Madenfort, father, Ronald Hall, siblings, Steve (Shelley) Hall, Kim (fiancé Ed Solis) Kelley, Julie (Jose) Velazques, Cheri (Larry) Petit, Danny (Tricia) Hurd, and Brian (Anna) Hall, sister-in-law, Jackie Hall, father-in-law & mother-in-law, Don and Helen Leiser, sister-in-law, Jenn (Todd) Hoover, ex-sister-in-law, Alina Torres, and many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Joyce Hurd, sister, Eugenia Hall, and brother, Dean Hall.

Private graveside services for Dawn will be conducted at Meadow Green Cemetery, Huron, OH. Memorial contributions in memory of Dawn may be given to Cancer Services of Sandusky, Ottawa County Humane Society, or St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
