Dawn M. Harnad

Dawn Marie Harnad, 69, of Oregon, passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg with her loving husband by her side. Dawn was born November 14, 1954 in Oregon, Ohio to Edward and Bernice (Swartz) Basinger. She married Tim Harnad on June 18, 1977 and they shared 47 years together.

She worked as a Homemaker for many years, then went into retail, and ended her career in child care. Dawn enjoyed spending time with family and friends, taking long walks, riding her bike, and spending time with her neighbors. She always looked forward to yearly trips to Florida to spend time on the white sand and view the palm trees. Dawn was always willing to help others and never asked for anything in return. She will be remembered for having a strong-willed personality and her strong love for her family.

Dawn is survived by her husband, Tim; children, Gregg (Pam) Harnad, Heather (Ben) Cable and Holly Harnad; grandchildren, Alexia Harnad, Alaina Doust, Luke and Brook Mason; nephews, Eric Basinger, Scott Basinger, and Brian Basinger; and niece, Alicia Basinger. She was preceded in death by her parents, step father Robert Pollauf, and brothers, Larry and Rick Basinger.

Friends and family will be received Friday, August 9, 2024 from 3-6 p.m. at Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary Street, Perrysburg (419-874-3133) where funeral services will be held Saturday, August 10, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Fort Meigs Union Cemetery.
