David A. Zunk

David A. Zunk, 57, of Millbury, Ohio, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, March 14, 2023, while at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo. He was born on October 19, 1965, to Eugene O. and Roxann (Nelson) Zunk, in Oregon, Ohio. Dave started his career with Libby Glass in Toledo then Jeep Corporation and was currently a forklift and crane operator for Chrysler Corporation of Toledo.

Dave loved his family and always had a great time when they were together, especially when they went fishing at grandpa’s house along the river. He was an avid fan of NASCAR and driver Jeff Gordon, the Detroit Redwings and the Detroit Lions. Dave thought of himself as a shade tree mechanic; sometimes successful and sometimes not, but he was always up for the challenge!

Dave is survived by his children, Heather (Lindsey) Zunk, Mathew Zunk, David J. (Haley) Zunk and Arrianna Zunk, father, Eugene “Gene” Zunk, grandchildren, Luna & Cali Zunk, and siblings, Kim Zunk, Kari (Gary) Weis, Rachael Balcewicz and Renee Anderson. He was preceded in death by his step-mother, Linda Zunk, mother, Roxann Zunk, uncle Dane, and aunts, Pam and Lynda.

Family and friends are invited to visit from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM, Saturday, March 25, 2023, at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 West St., Genoa, Ohio. A service will be held in the funeral home at 12:00 PM followed by burial in the Clay Township Cemetery, Genoa, Ohio.
