David L. Twynham

David L. Twynham, 65, of Chardon, OH, passed away Thursday, February 26, 2009 at University Hospitals in Chardon, OH. David was born on April 26, 1943 in Port Clinton, OH, the son of William and Eloise Cline Twynham. David worked as an automotive mechanic for many years, retired as a Lieutenant from the Port Clinton Fire Department after volunteering his time as both a firefighter and an EMT. He later taught in the automotive programs at Owens Community College in Toledo, OH. David was a member of the St. John Lutheran Church in Port Clinton, OH and will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends. Survivors include: Daughter: Kelly Jay Janda of Chardon, OH; 2 Grandchildren; Mother: Eloise Twynham of Port Clinton, OH; Sister: Virginia Barnard of Plano, TX; Brothers: William Twynham of Michigan and Rob Twynham of Columbus, OH. David was preceded in death by his father and sister, Lori Bishop. A Celebration of Davids life will be from 5:30 to 6:30PM, Thursday, March 05, 2009 in the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, Port Clinton, OH, followed by a Memorial Service conducted by Reverend James Lehman at 6:30PM.
