David W. Tracy

DAVID W. TRACY David W. Tracy, 49, passed away Saturday, May 28, 2011, surrounded by his family at his home. David was born May 29, 1961 in Bowling Green, Ohio to Wesley P. and Iona F. (Gottschalk) Tracy. David worked as a supervisor at Bowling Green State University. David was a member of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church and was an avid Ohio State fan and loved ladies college basketball. He enjoyed the game Farmville and model trains. David is survived by his life partner, Nicholas Rood, sisters, Debra (Thomas) Haubert, Cheryl (Randy) Rood and Marsha Beck; niece, Carolyn Beck and nephew, Steven Beck. He was preceded in death by his parents. Friends will be received Tuesday, May 31, 2011 from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. at Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary Street, Perrysburg (419-874-3133) Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, 22552 Carter Road, Bowling Green, Ohio 43402 at 11 A .M. with Pastor Tom Zulick officiating. Burial will follow in Scotch Ridge Cemetery, Pemberville Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church.
