David N Stegman

David N. Stegman, 87, of Perrysburg, passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2017 peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving family. David was born June 2, 1930 in Sault Ste. Marie, MI to Mr. George and Dorothy (Fetz) Stegman. David married Arlene V. Schramm on May 13, 1967 and she survives. David was a faithful employee for Columbia Gas for 36 years, where he was a member of the Gas Co. Club. He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Perrysburg and a member of the Masons. He loved to travel and watch the Detroit Tigers. David enjoyed working puzzles and sitting on his patio looking at the flowers and enjoying the sunshine. Along with his wife, Arlene, David is survived by his children, Eric (Shannon) Stegman, Chris (Bill) Conklin, Mike (Mary Beth McCreery) Stegman and Linda (Fred) Willis; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; sister, Madeleine Kock and many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his son, Tom Ross, parents, and brother, Robert Stegman. Friends will be received Friday, October 27, 2017 from 2-8 P.M. at Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary Street, Perrysburg (419-874-3133). Visitation will continue Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 11 A.M. with funeral services beginning at Noon at Grace United Methodist Church, 601 E. Boundary Street, Perrysburg, OH, 43551, with Pastor Dennis Ditto and Assistant Pastor Grace Brooks, officiating. Burial will follow in Fort Meigs Union Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Grace United Methodist Church or the Perrysburg Christians United Food Bank.
