David W. Sass

David W. Sass, age 60 of Toledo passed away Thursday March 14, 2013 in his home. He was born May 9, 1952 in Toledo to Clarence and Daisy Jerry Sass. A 1970 graduate of Sylvania High School, he was previously employed at World Prep, Inc. and the maintenance department at the Seagate Center. Dave enjoyed playing golf and spending time at his familys cottage. An avid motorsports fan he especially enjoyed watching NASCAR and open wheel racing at the tracks and on television. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters-in-law Debra Winch and Lorraine Brisbin. He is survived by his wife Sharon Szymanski Sass; brother Larry Lynn Sass; sisters Judy Jerry Saunders and Patricia Sass-Hunt; brothers-in-law Rodney Szymanski and Randy Liesa Szymanski; sister-in-law Valarie Dave Krueger; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Friends will be received at the Walker Funeral Home 5155 Sylvania Ave. west of Corey on Monday from 2-8 PM. where funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 11 AM. Interment will be private.
