David J. Roehrig

David J. Roehrig, a retired truck driver died of unknown causes Sunday, September 12, 2021. He was 65. Born August 20,1956, he was the son of the late Duane J. Roehrig and Judith L. (Archambo) Campbell. Dave was a loving son, father, brother, and friend who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed Nascar racing and trap shooting. He loved to find a good bargain and then share his great find with all his sisters. He gave loving advice to his nieces and nephews, whether they wanted it or not, but most of all loved traveling the road as a truck driver for more than 30 years. The last 20 years he was employed with Estes Trucking, where he was affectionately known by the name of Farmer and where he stopped regularly to chat with everyone to let them know he was still around. He is survived by his children Brianna and Nicholas, sisters Sherie (Wayne) Long, Terrie (Rick) Lundy, Beth (Garrett) Jacobson, and brother Shawn (Lani) Roehrig of Maryland. Stepmother Cindy Roehrig and her children Amy, Dan, David, and Jen (Pat) and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, David was also preceded in death by his stepfather Chester Kenneth Campbell. Dave, we will miss you – and we want to send you on your way with a “10-4 good buddy – we will see you on the flip side” Per David’s request there will be no service.
