David Alan Reid

David A. Reid age 60 of Luckey, Ohio passed away on February 1, 2023, at Flower Hospital. Dave was born in Toledo on April 27, 1962, to Harold B. Jr. and Eileen (Haas) Reid.

Dave was a graduate of Ohio State University Agriculture Technical Institute. He was employed as a Zoning Inspector for Middleton Twp and Williams Brothers Concrete in Maumee, OH. Dave enjoyed hunting, building pedal tractors for kids and loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Dave is survived by his loving wife, Debra (Grimm) Reid; stepson, Andrew (Marnie) Hartman; grandchildren, Maddie B. and Cooper who were his pride and joy; mother, Eileen Reid and sisters, Christine (Carl) Schultz and Susan (Mark) Stephens. Also surviving are nephews, Kevin and Jacob Reid; and nieces, Michelle Schultz and Erika Greenberg. Dave was preceded in death by his father, Harold B. Reid Jr; brother, H. Bradley Reid; sister in-law, Christine Halloran Reid; grandparents, John V. and Helen C. Haas, Harold B. Reid Sr., Elizabeth M. Reid and family friend, Henry “Hank” Kaufman.

The family would like to thank Kayla from Ohioans Home Healthcare; the staff at Regency Hospital, Flower Hospital ER and Flower Hospital 8th floor for the exceptional care Dave received during his journey.

Family and friends will be received at the Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home 222 E. South Boundary, Perrysburg, OH on Tuesday, February 7, 2023, from 3:00-8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at New Belleville Ridge Cemetery.
