David M Pond

David M. Pond of Toledo, Ohio passed away July 8, 2011 at Toledo Hospital. David was born December 25, 1935 to Levern A. and Isabel Mills Pond. On November 10, 1997 in Fremont, Ohio he married Dawn Kilby, and she survives. David was a veteran of the United States Army. He loved nature and was an avid hunter, especially with his mussel loaders. He liked woodworking, crafts, and quilting with his wife. David was also very active in the First Presbyterian Church in Montpelier, Ohio when he resided there. He is survived by his wife, Dawn of Toledo, Ohio, daughter, Barbara Paul Moak of Sequin, Texas, sons, William Bill Pond of Sequin, Texas, Timothy David Pond of Oak Harbor, Ohio, and Lawrence Edward Pond of Toledo, Ohio, step children, Randal Blount of Bartlesville, Oklahoma and Katrina Blount of Toledo, Ohio, 2 grandchildren, and 1 step granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife Rebecca Pond, and brothers, Levern and Glenn. Per family request services for David will be private.
