David Joseph Podolka

David J. Podolka, age 80 of Toledo passed away Sunday, June 26, 2022 in his home.  He was born May 20, 1942 in Detroit, Michigan to Frank and Amelia (Marasco) Podolka.  He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Wayne State University in 1964 and was also a Disabled Veteran of the United States Army.  David worked in the automotive industry for 50 years.  He enjoyed working on computers in his spare time and also enjoyed air shows, especially WWII planes.

David was preceded in death by his parents.  Surviving is his wife of 55 years, Patricia; sons, Paul (Heather) Podolka and Tom Podolka; grandchildren, Caitlyn and Hailey Podolka; and brother, Frank Podolka.
