David L. Lozinski

David M. Lozinski, 76, passed away December 15, 2015 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. David was born February 8, 1939 in Toledo, OH to Michael Edward and Mary Catherine Lozinski. He married Patricia A. Matuszynski on August 12, 1961 at St. Adalbert Church in Toledo, Ohio where they remained members until 2012. David retired as a supervisor of Environmental Services at Toledo Hospital. He was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church in Perrysburg. He was a past social member of the Buddy Frankowski VFW Post 5530 and the Jude Thaddeus Post of Catholic War Vets. He was a proud graduate of Woodward High School, class of 1957, and he loved the Ohio State Buckeyes, the Detroit Lions, Tigers and Red Wings. Along with his loving and devoted wife, Patricia, David is survived by his children, Michalene Sujaritchan and Dustin (Amy Daunhauer) Lozinski; grandson, Eli Lozinski and granddaughters, Ryan Lozinski and Ellison Sujaritchan; siblings, Barbara Reighard and Patricia (Michael) Kleparek; sister-in-law, Kathleen Rhoda and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers-in-law, Richard Reighard and S. Robert (Bob) Rhoda and nephews, Mark Reighard and Joshua Rhoda. At Dave’s request there will be no visitation. Family and friends will be received Saturday, January 9, 2016 from 10-11 A.M. with a memorial mass beginning at 11 A.M. at St. Rose Catholic Church, 215 E. Front Street, Perrysburg, Ohio. Burial will be private. Memorial arrangements were entrusted to Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, Perrysburg (419-874-3133). A special thank you to the staff at Kingston in Perrysburg for their kind and compassionate care of David.
